Belts

I think I have as many belts as shoes and because I love them so much I've made a few to sell and maybe keep. They can be purchased by going to www.sterlingtrailsdesign.com and clicking on shop.

Anniversary

Jarrod and I celebrated our third anniversary Sept. 9, 2009. Here are a few wedding photos taken our wedding day at Brush Canyon Ranch in Rye, CO. He proposed on the top of Greenhorn Mountain which is in the background. I can't believe we've already been married three years.

The Formation of Sterling Trails

I spent 2005 representing Kansas, rodeo and Western heritage. I rode many horses at many rodeos in nine states. I had lots of adventures and made many new friends. My travels were made possible by the many generous supporters I had. Not only did they help me financially but they encouraged me to do great things. Thanks to everyone that contributed to the year. It changed my life and I am forever grateful.
The experience taught me to leave my comfort zones and explore the many new adventures life may bring. The early settlers of the west were artists in many ways they created what they needed using natural materials. (Thank God, since we've advanced to running water and sewing machines:) I've always been inspired by the beauty of nature and have enjoyed working with materials created by God. In high school I began making jewelry and through 4-H I was involved in leather craft. I've experimented with all kinds of construction, clothing design, sewing, woodwork, painting, leather craft and paper craft.
When the year as Miss Rodeo Kansas was over I needed something to fill my "spare time" other than my job and school, so I decided to make a business of being crafty. My mom and I joined forces and started Sterling Trails. It took a few years to get the ball rolling and we're still in the early stages. Nothing is impossible if you think it is possible.
